An office designed for one of Chicago's scrappiest tech companies - Packback
Conceived of as a series of informal college 'library' style gathering spaces. The office had to also deliver for a group of founders who effectively lived at the office.
The 2,600 USF office was home to the first 28 employees. The constraints of a low budget were offset by the diy abilities of the Packback founders and their equally scrappy landlord.
The Packback team would spend nearly all their time in the office. The task was to provide the greatest variety of spaces to allow each team member to personalize the space.
